About the work
In this photograph we see a lonely tree standing in the middle of a boundless field, like a guard of time, forever imprinted in the memory of nature. Its branches stretch upwards, as if in a hopeless desire to reach the sky, hanging with heavy clouds, like a cloak of gray velvet. The clouds float, turning the horizon into something mythical, mysterious. The tree is like a silent witness of the storms that have swept over this land. Its roots are probably hidden deep under the dry grass, which rustles like dreams forgotten by time. This tree is a symbol of human loneliness, leaning on the wind of fate, holding on to its last strength, but maintaining its proud posture. It speaks of invincibility, of the fight against invisible enemies, of the fact that even in the midst of emptiness and silence there is always hope for the future.
