About the work
A lighthouse in the middle of the water, as if frozen in time and space, carries the image of an observer cut off from the rest of the world. The water around is an endless mirror, reflecting its elongated form, lost in the haze. This silence brings thoughts of oblivion. As if the world is frozen in a pause, where there is no beginning and no end, only an endless reflection of itself. The lighthouse is the only source of strength in this fragile balance. Its thin silhouette pierces the sky like an arrow pointing to something unattainable. It is a lonely light in a world without shores, like a voice in the emptiness that reaches everyone who is lost in these vast waters. The surface of the water is so motionless that it seems as if time has stopped - and now there is nothing but this lighthouse, which, perhaps, no longer illuminates anyone. It has become a guardian of silence, a symbol of hope, which remains the only compass in a world where there are no other landmarks.
